Maybe in the 70's I read an article about someone building a Jeep with Ferrari running gear. I thought it was Marriot, but it may have been Harrah? Maybe they both did it? If I remember correctly, in the article, they called it the, "Jerrari". That's why I was thinking Ferrari. OOPs, I skipped a head. I see @mammyjammer already got it straight, Joe.
Friends of mine loading up grandpa's '65 Kenworth. Freshly restored and headed to the truck show at Brooks Oregon last week.
Bad day for the ice cream man , stuck in the mud and flat tire . Blown Red Ram beautiful Kenworth Trucks . I’m a little partial to the W900’s
Grandpa's '65 Kenworth hauling a new 145,000 lb logging shovel on the lowboy. The heavy haul KW bringing up the rear in a parade last weekend. They earned a first place trophy! The 335 ***mins sounded nice through the straight stack!
Weyerhaeuser, Camp Baker Kenworth lowboy. Taken sometime in the last half of the 70's. It was powered by a 12V-71N Detroit Diesel, with an Allison powershift transmission ( usually found in log yarders back then) and Clark (??) planetary rearends. This truck and trailer was never found after Mt. St Helens wiped out Camp Baker.
