Jim went Home to be with the Lord last night. He had his family by his side and in the arms of Pam as he said goodbye to this earth.
“I did it my way” sung by Elvis Presley - this was his song that he wanted played to say farewell.
Goodbye for now. May you live on through the love you showed us everyday.

Sorry to hear this. I talked to him at blue suede cruise a couple of years ago. They were driving that beautiful truck. our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

    RIP Jim.
Jim brought his blue Ford to one of our Jalopyrama shows in Maryland a few years ago. Speaking with him, I was amazed at all mods he had done in his garage. A skilled craftsman.

Condolences to the Thompson family and friend's in the p***ing of Jim. He certainly had his i's dotted and t's crossed with his Customs...taste extraordinaire indeed...may he rest in peace. He certainly lived life to the fullest and by his choice of music in seeing him off did what he wanted to do...

It was good to meet Jim and Barb and see them every year at the Custom Car Revival. He was the big winner with his truck and his 36 Ford two different years. He also built a Carson topped Buick and a cool chopped shoebox. And I`m sure others as well.
