we sold a bunch of stuff and bought a bunch of stuff, had a good time, got to talk and meet a bunch of people, learned a few things. over all great.
pack a lunch, look for venders selling $1 waters, $5pet rocks that come with a beer to feed them, or .25¢ apples remember it's a car swop meet, there is greasy, heavy, rusty, smelly, jagged old bits. it is not a Betty Crocker convention.

 

over 30 years of attendance, I am one of the old guys now I brought some stuff that had a one way ticket and of course took some new to me stuff home.

 

Foot traffic seemed light for the weather and sales were a little light but it was still a fantastic time as always. Too many empty spaces? Be part of the solution and get a space and bring some junk to sell. Still the best swap meet ever!

 

I have been going to Hershey since I was 26 years old. I will be 83 this month. I went on Tuesday with AVater, and my ass was dragging. I didn't go on Wednesday as that is a dialysis day for me. My enjoyment was seeing the people that I know, and meeting some new people. The people are what is important, the parts that you buy, or sell is a bonus. See you next year hopefully.

 

Missed seeing my friend, The Hot Rod Grille, this year. We'd been HAMB friends for 20 years but finally met in person at Hershey in '22. Illness got in the way, but as they say in WV, next year, God willing and the creeks don't rise.
