    1. doesn't always go to car events with me, &
    2. refuses to sleep anywhere that a bathroom is further away than one room

SO; if she doesn't come with me next year, I'm bringing a tent and sleeping bag so I can be right there in the middle of those late-night shenanigans.

If she does come with me I'll have her company.

    I win either way.

    See ya next year.

Throw some dates at me that might work better for 2024.

  11. Well, pushed one week later would make for some nice fall colors.
Check with the track and have it on another good drag weekend again

Lloyd dont tell anyone that we were in kahoots because you pulled my name out of the bucket to!o_O

  15. Make it a little earlier next year please. I need a little warmer weather for my cold blooded coupe, and well probably me too.:) Besides if it is earlier, maybe I will not have broken my junk yet during the season.:D

  16. That is a tough call Lloyd!

I can see good points for a week earlier for us guys that are freeze babies, yet I can see benefits for a week later for a really cool poker run , because of the leaves turning. Either way, I would NOT do it the same weekend as Hershey (if possible). How ever it works out, Laura & I are in for next year barring catastrophic issues. I am also in as a company sponsor again next year as well!

    God Bless

There is no way you can come up with a date that will make everyone happy. As I understand it you originally set this up as a celebration of you and Ashley's anniversary so shouldn't that still be how you decide when to do it in the future? Because of health issues I don't think there is anyway that I will be able to attend, although I sure wish that I could, so I won't say too much about it either way.

Taylor Swift :), Carly Pearce :), Lainey Wilson :), Stephanie Quayle :), Alex Hughes to pacify the Canadians, how's that ;)? All seriousness aside, how about September 27-28-29, 2024? I don't have any doctor appointments then, yet .

You do mean your car, right? ;)

  20. Bill, it was fantastic to meet you and Laura. We had a blast hanging out with you, and thank you for making the S’mores!

  21. Yes Randy...Scott was a great D.J!!!

He also sent me the video of me singing Tom Waites. LOL A little rough to watch, but we all had fun!

Glad you could make it Andy! It was a pleasure to meet you & your wife as well. The Smores were a special surprise to Laura as I am Ketogenic & have been for years, so I don't eat any kind of crap like that. She has been working towards eating like I do, but still likes her sweets from time to time. I figured that if she could put up with me & 50 or so other hoodlums for a weekend, I could get her & the rest of the ladies that braved the cold some Smores!:p By the way...This weekend was my splurge time, I ate & drank more crap over that 3 day period than I have in the last 10 years! :D:eek: I am paying for it today...but it is all good

    God Bless

you are welcome to set your tent next to ours.

I just wonder how many hambr's go to the pumpkin run in Ohio? That's about the usual weekend they have their show. If everybody is good with the first weekend in October, I'll leave it alone and plan for that, just want everybody to be warm lol...

Yes, we will. We already have our extra bedroom reserved for you next year. We're excited to meet you all too.

Thank you. I'm looking forward to it.

Here's hoping you will be ready to convoy with 57 Fargo and us. The three of us (& wives) can roll into Lloyd's together.

  27. I do remember that song & I can tell you Alan that being a "freeze baby" I can definitely agree, but in the case of this group I think the song : Wasn't That A Party by the Irish Rovers fits better! LMAO!!!

Yep. We came across I-64 from St. Louis all the way to Owingsville. We could meet up with you somewhere out around O'Fallon and convoy the rest of the way.
