F8B89D69-B739-4C40-98E6-2D632794CE53.jpeg In my race style late 40’s 32 5W coupe I got a std 32 pedal and rest on the parts is Ok but pedal has deep rust on it.
-I can fix it by copper/chrome it or platic and paint it black.
But I got another pedal and its 30’s something and truck maybe and its basic the same as the std 32 in design but pedal pad to foot is bigger ( se picture ) and in a new condition.
-So what is the coolest pedal to use or better ergonomic ?
It’s a hot rod so I can use whatever.

I has never run a 1932 so any experiance on foot location, or is the 32 ’whatever’ the coolest to use ?

They say "parts is parts" around these parts.
The simpler the better in my book.

So there is really no ’cool’ factor to use the 32 s****.

The '32 s**** has the extra pivot ball for the hand throttle linkage. You need that only if you are using the stock hand throttle.

Of course there is a cool factor in using the 32. But if it doesn’t bother you, then do whatever.

You could use the big one since it is nicer but grind or belt sand it down in size closer to the original size one.

I have made a few pedals. I show the one in may roadster and an old pedal I am updating. The pedals are easy to make. Cut out the stem and weld on a tube and a s****.The brackets I made use the original covers. They could just as easily have a piece over the top and look stock.

If you use a s**** pedal, make sure to install a stock foot rest too.

I find the original Ford spring on the throttle arm is too stiff, and prefer a lighter new spring. And, the Stromberg return springs on the base of each carb.

0BEF1602-41B2-44F8-8038-DFF387C9D874.jpeg I use the 32 parts less for pedal at first, just as a I got this pedal for a nice price and a perfect pedal and its bigger ( might feel little hot rod over that actually )
So I try it and feel it over, will not sell the 32 s**** of course.

At the moment I’m not shore on intake/carb set- up so it might need be modify on linkage.
As I really enjoy my L&S intake 4 x2 but I has not yet figure out hos to use the cool watertubes to heads with that intake.
Only way is risers but that get the cool look away as the idea here is liw mount carbs.
Still the watertubes need be modify ( but I dont like do that ) do Status Q there now.
If I find a high rise Tattersfield 4 carbs I might get that.
If anyone has one over, please contact me.
Or trade in my intake plus money.
