I have three of these on a tri-power setup. No tags or numbers. How do I know which rebuild kit I need?

Post pictures from several different angles, include the linkage arms and maybe we can narrow it down for you.

  4. When I rebuilt my last set it was just a generic kit with parts for several models. Meaning, you use what you need and put the rest away

Was it running ok up to now?

  7. I ran one of these for a while, my outer carbs have no idle circuits, so they only function when a progressive linkage opens them. Like a big 4 barrel….i ordered the rebuild kit for a Rochester 2gc for all 3, then just picked what I needed for the outer carbs. Vacuum leaks was the biggest issue.

Is it a factory or aftermarket setup? If it's factory, knowing what it is would be helpful. Even with an aftermarket, it might provide a clue to know what it is on.

Try a Walker 15289C kit. O'Reilly should have it in stock. It covers all small base 2G Rochesters.

  10. Many moons ago, Borg Warner made a great kit for the 2GC, no idea on a part number and if they are still around.

Yes sir. Running fine but the back carb is leaking causing a gas smell in the cockpit. I've only had the coupe a couple of months but winter plans are to pull the engine. Clean, repaint and detail everything.

When you take them apart, save the gaskets in as good a shape as possible, because you will have to do some gasket matching to get the correct ones from the kits.

I see a bowl vent and side inlet, a screw plugging choke shaft hole on the air horn with aftermarket intake manifold and linkage.
    all good clues.
more pictures would help, front, back and both sides of all three.

  15. I buy my kits thru Carquest but if you want top notch I have since found that @carbking here is worth talking to

    good looking car.

I can see what looks like idle screws on at least the rear secondary and primary throttle arm on front secondary.
