1. if i unbolt a 3 window dash from a 3 window coupe, will a 2 door sedan dash bolt right back into its place & fit nice? No. 3w bolt pattern different, but I"ll trade you a sedan dash for a 3w if you want to try.

2.will all 32 oval gauge clusters interchange with each model? P***enger car but not pickup truck, although I swaped tunnels in my 3w and mysteriously was 3/16 from the dash short. To lazy to take out and measure.

3. are 3 window & 5 window coupe seats the same? Mohair yes , shape and design no, your girl friend sits closer to you in a 5w.

4. what model 32's have the most desired rear bumper brackets? Sedan delivery, they are shorter. At the show you can backup 2" closer to the guys car parked next to you. .

5. no 2 32 front fenders seem to be the same. what are the two major differences in 32 p*** car front fenders? I don't think welled or nonwelled is the answer. I do know that from different Ford dies and t******* the curvature of the indent at the front of the fender is deeper on some than others. And on some the rear hood hook reinforcement has an additional forward bolt hole. And some fenders are heavier than others and a bunch of people want to pawn off 33/34 pickup fenders as 32's.

6. will a 3 window rear window garnish moulding fit a 2 door sedan? No but a tudor will fit a 5w coupe.

7. does a cabriolet windshield frame interchange with a sport coupe. NO, Sport coupe interchanges with B400

8.whats the wheelbase of a 32 p*** cae? 106 but should be about 105 1/2 to get the rear tire to center in the fender.

9.whats a pickup (1/2 ton) wheelbase? same as above,but if the pickup is at the bar and it is after 12 midnite, a wider "wheel" base is ok if your buddies don't see you leave.

10. does a rear spare tire mount interchange in all p*** cars? yes, but there are couple versions, thru bolts or blind bolt mounts. SD is commercial. Wait does this mean that the spare on the back is only for the rear tires?

No, if you put the top down on a sport coupe you have cut a hole in the roof, it is a fixed canvas roof , doesnt go down. .

So next time you are about to purchase a $$$ Vicky pull the rear seat and check to see if there is any welding at the body line. Like swapping the curves side to side and shortening the bustle of a tudor.

I just seen this thread, great answers,.... the only thing I think I can add is on Question #5 about the front fenders,... on a p***enger car front fender you either have 2" or 1 1/2" fenders,..... if you have more than 1 set of fender check the with of the flange that is over the front frame horn, some are 1 1/2" wide,.... some are 2" wide,........... and some guys have one of each on there cars and don't know it,....................... ( if my memory serves me correctly )

 

The red badge is specifically British (mine was made in Birmingham). Different than furrin. Drake now makes them, so all the rabble of streetrodders will have them now, but from pics Drake's looks like an opaque red. The original is translucent red over a fishscale patterned background, and so looks like candy apple red.
