15505.jpeg He really impresses me for a young guy. He's not afraid of hard work.

I looked at his profile. I'm just a few years ahead of him. Hard to believe I've been in the hobby 22+ years and still one of the "young guys". :p

I’ve been working and building old Harley’s since high school and never had space for cars. I’ve learned so much from lumpy 63 in the past year that I’m sure you couldn’t get in 4 years of college ha. I am forever grateful I crossed paths with this man! IMG_6422.jpeg

Awesome to see you leap into a cool car build.

I got lucky that my dad was a mechanic with his own shop and built cars as a hobby at home, which he still all has. Still have my first vehicle that we built when I was 15, and the other three of my specialty cars that I've had. I'm hoping to start on my 28 RPU this winter, but with our first baby coming at Christmas that will slow me up.

I'm excited to follow along on this build, it's great to have a cool mentor showing you the ropes.

The fork tubes can be straightened easily, I have straightened many of them when I worked at B&B Cycle as a mechanic and service manager.

Put a rubber grommet around brake lines going through hole in fender.

Wow you have done a lot of work, glad to see the motorcycle accident didn't keep you down. I laid down my Roadglide a few years ago after hitting a huge Pitbull on the hwy. I was lucky enough to walk away . Chevy powered, nothing wrong with that, use what ya got.

Most of this work was done before my accident just didn’t have the time to start and upload the story of our build. Hoping to get back at it asap when I can walk!
