    Small world - Upstairs was a graphics company that did blueprints long before CAD machines. I worked there, briefly out of high school. The paper was developed with ammonia. Big giant print machines up there. I don't miss the smell. Never knew downstairs used to be a speed shop!

    Old thread, but he was on Hwy 1. I still have the shipping labels on the Crane Super Port Flow Heads and Cam package that were bought and never used in 1962.

  3. I worked for Don's Speed Shop for 29 years and Don was a great person. We started out at RT1 in Metuchen and went to Whitman Ave in Edison. We aso had 2 other warehouses. One in Baltimore, Md and the other in Hartford, Ct. My brother John Dankanyin managed the warehouse in Ct. When times became sp****, Don opened up retail stores named Performance Centers of America. (PCA). In NJ and CT. If your want any more information, feel free to ask me.
