Looking for some ideas. 1941 ford trucks had the tank at the back under the factory metal floor. There was a circular inspection cover for the sending unit. What are you guys doing when you switch to wood floors?? I would hate to have to raise the entire bed to access that sender. There is absolutely no room from underneath with the floor in place. I am thinking of flush mounting an inspection cover but curious how others have approached this.

I have removable exhaust pipes and I left enough slack in my wiring to drop the tank should it become necessary to replace the sending unit or in tank pump. I don't care for doors or covers in the wood floor.

After a lot of thought I decided to not cut an access panel. I made the tank removable from the bottom. Not an easy task with the ch***is engineering leaf spring kit. Lots of t******* things but it does now come out from the bottom.
