He no say that…him say, “Man who no **** for days have back log.” New man at #6 Peoples Truck Factory tell me that. He loose leg Vietnam War, he name Tai Wun Shu. Bwahahahahahaaaa!
WTF?? I think Moriarty and I are on the same page photographically. I can tell the difference between real old stuff and recreated old stuff. I consider the context before taking a picture. The channeled, dark blue ‘34 coupe has polished “Halibrand style” late model wheels. But the overall package; chopped, channeled, Olds engine… makes for a good HAMB car even though the wheels are recreations. As I mentioned, there were a number of nice cars there, MCjim caught some and I caught others. Like ekimnierbo, I sometimes take technical shots of details I appreciate regardless of their HAMB-ness, but I don’t post them. Tai Wun Shu, too funny….
I hate those damned things too, I suppose it is because if you squint your eyes they sorta look like the old 12 spokes....
Me too. They were on several cars at B-fld that I didn’t photograph. The Grove is a strange place to take pictures, there’s always either a tree, an outhouse or a ****py car in the way. Lol
