Hello all. I wanted to share my build with you all and I hope I am posting in the right place.
let me start by saying I have been following a lot of builds here over the years and learned a lot from this site. So I found this dodge body on Craig's list the man had it listed as a ford.
the man had it listed for 495.00 I couldn't believe it. I called right away struck a deal with him and pick it up the next day. I want to build it 50's/60's hotrod car I have been sitting on a 241 red ram hemi for a couple of years. I have a model a frame I think I make it fit pretty good. I have a 4 inch drop axle and a ford nine inch. well that's my plans. IMG_20220223_120845453.jpg IMG_20220529_131926.jpg IMG_20220529_131959.jpg

Great raw material. I would chop it and put it on '32 rails, but that's just me....

Awesome! one of my favorite non ford bodies sounds like you got all the main components for a sweet coupe...don't ignore that '57 though;)

I was mostly talking to myself lol;)...I'm doing one too then in the process of looking for a pass. door I found a whole 2 dr. body!...ha ha now I'm ignoring the 5W coupe I was building out of scraps and the years-from-now-2 dr. in favor of the more door :D I think my family will enjoy it this summer... if I can figure out the rats nest I have for wiring:rolleyes:...the Dodge coupe will be really cool too what year is it?

Nice purchase. Not enough of us non Chevy / Ford guys. Very nice start you got either a fast four or standard six body. Solid cars no structural wood. Good luck with it (IMHO please use a grille shell other than 32 Ford). IMG_2400.jpeg

I want to use a different grill shell for sure just haven't found one I like.
I had a willys overland grill on it for awhile but it didn't look right .
I saw a DeSoto grill on flee bay awhile back but to rich for my blood.

'24 to '27 Dodge Brothers radiator shells are pretty common and not much different than a "Fast Four" shell.

Mopar in a Mopar great build. My first car was a 28 Dodge 4 door I traded my 1/4 midget for when I was in 8th grade.

I know I’m excited to see how it turns out. I love early fords, but I’ve always had a soft spot for oddball stuff.
