I’m really digging the stance here. It looks like a 3” drop on that but I’d like to hear from its owner as to what they did chassis-wise. Mine is in the nose bleed seats by comparison.
I don’t remember his name but he lowered the car here on a thread on the HAMB. If I remember right, it has airbags. His car is really cool and certainly has the look. I’m interested in see what you do with your car. I saw your wheels on another thread and think you are going in the right direction.
@HerMink https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/members/hermink.325416/ has not logged on since may though. and yeah it is on air bags....
Seems like he sold the car the best I can remember…he ran different hub caps from side to side or something like that…
The times they are a changing... If he sold it maybe the new owner added the trim and a mirror...is that the only visual difference externally? they sure have alot in common... Hard to believe there's still shitty pics like that out there...
A friend of mine informed me that in order to lower a tri-five (he has 2 56's) AND be able to steer it, you need narrow wheels like those on your inspiration car. With the wheels you've got it sounds like you're on the right track. Apparently it can be tough to get a real low stance on a tri-five without ditching the inner fenders, etc.
Yes, that was the point of me buying 14x6 rims, the 14x7 with 215’s rub when I turn left. I’m debating whether to go with 195’s or 205’s.
