I'm using a PCV on two of mine. I tapped into the top rear corner of the valve chamber cover and ran it to the intake manifold. I had to put a orifice in the fitting at the cover to restrict the flow as it was drawing too much from the crank case. I also made a baffle on the inside of the cover to prevent the ingestion of oil spray into the intake. I also installed a screen in the oil tube cap to keep the rocks out of the crank case.

Question, I got these in a hoard of parts I bought. Are these worth using and does anyone have experience with them?

Well I took it for a 1/2 hr drive today, took the gear cover off afterwards and it all looked good in there.

Just checked one place at .003 backlash.

Wear marks on the filed side were slight and biased towards the rear. I thought was my technique, but the marks on the trust side (which hasn't been touched) were also towards the rear. I took off the high spot marks on the filed side, only a couple of light strokes needed.

It runs very quiet now and I'm hoping it'll run in to around .005-6", and I'm calling it good.

    The filed side.

    The thrust side.

Good outcome! Hopefully it just continues to settle in
    Have you an oil filter?

Yup and I replaced it, cleaned the pan, and changed from the 30wt oil that was in it to 20/50 before the run out.

Time to put the RPU to bed but already planning next year. I am looking for Banger style sand/gr*** drags in the Northeast, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Michigan Illinois, well I'm sure you get the drift. I am in Ontario, but no problem with a fifteen hour jaunt. Will probably take the Bantam altered to Oxford but Rodtoberfest and Pinetree are a must for the banger. Anytime between May and October.
    Thanks
