Technical Paint correction advice (body men/painters)?

    I just read that John Lennon's 64 psychedelic yellow Rolls Royce was originally painted matte black. Tastes do change.

    Another idea, shoot the white sections I showed in the pic gloss black, leave the flat on top.

    Were it my car it woulda been pinstriped already. Dirty white and burnt orange are my faves but anything will do. AND, it's easy to remove if you tire of it 10 years from now. Just sayin...

    This car was painted with Hot Rod Flats single stage flat enamel. It belongs to @Hurley50 he buffed and polished and it is way awesome. The paint really does look like killer old hand rubbed lacquer. I don’t know how it will equate to clear, but I’d try it. Matt’s roadster looks killer. FF10A69C-AAB6-4E07-A670-4D8907356846.jpeg

    I didn't think that flat black was out of style. Cars have been painted flat black since the start of hot rodding and I still see it being done. Too bad that stopped you from driving it.

    Buff the car it will shine up I repair damaged new sheet metal that has small dents by doing paintless dent I buff the flat Ecoat to get a shine to see the dent it does look like old lacquer paint when done.
