Art & Inspiration Strangers picture of your cars

Me, sliding around Snetterton race circuit some years ago on a "charity rides" day. No idea who took this picture but I'm very grateful to them. Left home at 5am to get the circuit at 7, after a drivers meeting and a few laps in a track instructors Lotus, we got to take paying members of the public out for 3 laps at a time. A very memorable day! The rain never stopped.....got absoloutley soaked but the car never missed a beat.

We were just leaving a gas station way up north this past weekend and someone snapped us.

 

We were 14 hrs from home and trying to capture this shot on my phone but couldn’t. A stranger (professional photographer) got this shot. It was very difficult a bus load of asian tourists kept swarming around the car and we had to keep shooing them away.

 

I have lots of pics taken of those two back when i was a stranger to you. JW

A windowed Sedan Delivery I bought & sold 40+ years ago. Went through 4 or 5 owners. This year, a guy 2,200 miles away contacts me saying his dad owns the car and he recognized it because of the non-original lock on the tailgate. We sent pics back and forth determining it's the same car. I shot this about 1980.


Here's the photo he sent me during restoration.
Glad to see somebody did something with it.

A friends brother took these two at CT Dragway. A friend of a friend at Fritzs in Oxford, CT cruise nite.

A few years ago of me and my co-pilot Riley. On a cars and coffee sight.

 

So 2 days ago it was sunny and 75 here..took the Falcon out to grab pizza…this dude keeps riding near me side my side holding his phone..he catches me at a light and holds up his phone with this pic on it…saying man that’s a sweet car…Wife and I thought it was odd…

 

One summer day I was taking a drive through the Garden of the Gods in the Corvette and I noticed a guy following me and waving. I pulled into an overlook to see what he wanted.
He was a photographer and was taking wedding pictures for a bride and groom and asked if they could use the car in the backdrop.
I said sure and when he finished they thanked me and he asked for my email.
A week later I got a pleasant surprise.

I sorta know these fellas from yippee yapping here and we are fellow Hambers but I guess it sort of fits...
