1952-59 Ford Modern art?

I'm in NYC today and visited the Museum of Modern Art with the wife (her idea). Towards the end of the visit I saw this. Upon closer inspection it looks to be either a 55 or 56 p***enger side fender.

 

New York, New York. The city that never sleeps

 

A helluva town, the Bronx is up and the battery's down, the people all ride in a hole in the ground...

 

And to think, I used to wreck old cars for free. It was called a demolition derby, same result though. No one called it art.

Looks like a Fairlane, trim on top of fender.

 

And Why?

 

And they call that art? HRP

 

Ever since Dos Cincos trip to NYC, I've been working hard. I now have this piece of Art, that I'm offering for bid.
