You folks are making me regret selling my Impala all of those years ago. lol

 

Saw a couple of Z11s in there. That 'ol Ford would have a run for the money.

 

I have had my grubby hands on this one, even got to drive it.

By the way I didn't show centerline wheels, they are Cragar super tricks. But I do get the point.

There is something so bad ass cool about a full size Chevy on the drag strip and 1963’s are my favorite!! Me, being an eternal cheapshit, I’d prefer a Biscayne, but an Impala would be perfectly fine too! Heck, at this point I’d take a 63 Chevy more door!

 

Had one, never thought of it as a race car, always thought of it as a nice cruiser.

 

i am looking for a fiberglass hood, vintage hood scoop(wide enough for a Wiend cross ram) traction improvements for rear suspension, piecrust Hurst slicks( or?), sbc fender well headers.

 

You’ll be making all that stuff yourself. There used to be aluminum hoods available but haven’t seen them for quite a while.

a lot of Chevy's had them also, i am using a Weind cross ram so this will cover the Moon velocity stacks nicely
