Designed some weld in bungs for the wishbones and printed a prototype...
    Then machined the real deal...
    [IMG][IMG]
And got my shock mounts welded in place

Looks good, you got some skills!
Just a question on the pinion angle, will you just set up the engine angle to match pinion angle?

Yes, thats the plan. Three degrees up on the pinion, three degrees down on the engine. Hopefully that works out or I can make some adjustments.

Back to work on the wishbones. Used an old set that's piece pretty banged up as a test piece.[IMG][IMG]
Then cranked out the set I intend to use. Holes will have slugs welded in them. The forward most hole gets a threaded bung for the spring perch (suicide axle) [IMG]

Decided I wanted to make some beefy spring perches out of 304 Stainless...
Once again, started with a 3DP prototype.
1st OP, raw stock turned and thread milled
    [IMG]
    2nd Op...
After the 3rd Op, needs a little blending and polishing, but I'm happy

Back to work on the wishbones. I didn't want to be married to available tubing / DOM sizes, so I machined slugs that graduate from 26mm to 36mm ID [IMG] Starting to weld them in place. I'll grind down the excess when they are all welded up. [IMG]

I couldn't find a commercially available engine lift plate for a 3x2 setup, so I whipped this one up...[IMG]

Got the wishbones all welded up and started smoothing them out. Its going to take lots of DA paper to get them where I want. [IMG][IMG]

I didn't plan my PCV system before I got my intake all bolted down. Ultimately I'd like to drill a hole in my intake to circulate air all the way to the back of the crankcase. I'm going to save that operation for later down the road. Instead I stole an idea from a thread about using the fuel pump block off plate as a crankcase vent source. I designed and machined this guy to plumb into my PCV valve in the carb base. [IMG]

Been busy on a bit of side quest... I've been modifying my engine stand so it can be converted into a run stand on the fly. I drilled some holes in the frame of it and welded in some crush sleeves. Tubing attaches to the frame and adjustable feet steady everything up. I'll be building a radiator support that bolts to these.[IMG]
I wanted to help support the engine from the front and guarantee it wont flop over. I made some links with LH and RH heim ends so I can crank on them and raise the front of the engine up[IMG]I machined some little motor mount brackets that attach to the rods. These could easily be made with plate. I just have a large s**** pile to work with and run a CNC every day so I do things a little lazy sometimes [IMG]

Working on machining the last few pieces of the ch***is puzzle... These are for the wishbone mounts with a 7 degree internal taper. Once I get these welded in I'll be ready to get the ch***is off the table and make it a roller again.
