For sale: One vintage Edmunds finned aluminum head for Dodge and Plymouth flathead sixes - 201, 217 and 230 (not Chrysler/DeSoto big sixes). Ran it for 20 years on my 49 Dodge Wayfarer, then decided to swap it for a new Edgy head. Very good condition. Only noticeable corrosion is at the thermostat housing flange, but it never leaked the entire time I ran it. One spark plug hole has a thread renew in it. Head has been milled, not sure how much. I meant to put this in the original listing, but just forgot. Included with the head is a new FelPro copper head gasket.
Reckon I'll try one more time before turning this into wall art. I'm not gonna just lower the price, but I do welcome offers. If you're interested, let me know. By the way, here's a pic of the lone thread repair doohickey. All the other spark plug holes are original with threads in good shape. (There is a helicoil in one of the thermostat housing bolt holes.)
