That's usually reserved for a Camaro parked next to a mobile home!

Ha, I know you couldn’t do that in ND, the wind would have it in the neighbor’s yard lickety-split.

Got to get it high enough to fix the rust without bending over. I’d put 4 anchors in the concrete and a strap for and aft and go to work. No big deal.

The blocks should be turned on edge . They are stronger that way.

I guess I’m getting old, seeing things like that makes me concerned about safety.

Like @Okie Pete said, cement blocks are MUCH stronger with holes facing up. I'm scared for this guy, his family, and anyone else who happens by

Not at all saying it's ok, but that weighs a lot less than the mobile homes I've seen that way. Lol

Why is there no shadow from the body on the ground? Looks to be a photoshop to me.

The shadows on the far side of the concrete blocks look real enough to me, with that said it does look dangerous.

I guess most of us have pushed out luck at one time or another, it looks sketchy but the body was balanced on 4 jack stands and two 2" x 6" boards on top of the jack stands.
Once the frame was out of the way I added two more jack stands in the rear, it sat like this for several months. HRP

Would be better if the blocks were installed correctly. They really have no strength lying sideways.
If one block is weakened or has a crack and it fails .... lose one lose the whole load.

Concrete blocks are designed for strength straight up and down. For building they would run rebar through the center and fill with concrete. Or even mobile homes no concrete but they are installed properly .... not sideways.

Will hold the weight of the car fine if installed properly ..... the way it is I would not touch it with a 10' pole.

The 1st point is that with the position of the cement blocks, the frame likely was not rolled out from under the body as it now sits. The blocks would be in line with the tires on the frame. That would mean the body was sat on the blocks after it was removed from the frame. Yes, the blocks would have been stronger if the holes were facing upward, but the reality was, that body may have only been on the blocks for a short time frame, maybe just long enough to spray the bottom, or maybe long enough to get a different frame ready to transport the body to. Cement blocks are a great, and cheap temporary stand as long as you are not working under them.

It isn't apropos to our hobby or the topic of hot rodding but it is important for safety's sake to mention that
mobile homes (doubles and triples) are supported from the frame that runs under the center of each section of the home (like a railway car) to a concrete pad with hold downs. The concrete block wall around the parameter is a wind shear wall to keep air out from under the home and prevent rodents from taking up residence. These walls are not structural and in fact bear no weight, there is a weatherstrip between the blocks and the bottom of the home.

Concrete blocks are a foolish way to support weight like that Chevy.
