I like both types...small on front with large on back and just a large on front...pockets don't matter, though I have one and am okay with it...

I wear them accordingly to weather conditions and find time to wear both styles without a jacket...

Ryan, if you gotta go outta town to source the shirts so be it...as long as the quality is there...It's interesting that I find US XL's to be a Canadian L, so I order XXL and that seems to give me a Can. XL...the missus gets those that are too small for me so it all works out...

  8. Back in the day (a recognized period time) most speed equipment manufacturers and speed shops put their logos on the front, and since the H.A.M.B. is about honoring hot rod history my vote is for logo on the front.

My dad about 20 years old in 1969 note the L&R Speed Shop (Malta NY) shirt with the Frankland Q.C. logo.

Prefer a large illustration on the back and something small on the front.

I can see large artwork on front or back. With it on the back have additional small artwork on the front left chest. Pocket optional. I am tired of seeing black EVERYTHING although it hides SOME stains and sweat some. A variety of colors would be nice and maybe even some dry fit materials would be nice so you don't look like a drenched rag on hot days.

Front vs. back or both could go either way. It depends on what the shirt is for.

I have SO many T-shirts. I'm getting picky about what I'll buy and wear. By far, my #1 priority is a pocket. If it doesn't have a pocket, it needs to be REALLY special for me to buy it. Next is NOT black. . When I see an event shirt with a collar, 2 pockets and buttons, I almost always buy it.

My vote is for the back, my beard covers it if it is on the front!

  18. Art on front, concert or show dates on the rear, long sleeves over pockets. Maybe sew on badges and we can put it on our favourite shirt. So many options in the fields of opportunity it’s plowing time again…

    • Large on back, small logo on the front
    • Black is my first choice, but why not also offer all shirts in black, white, and a couple of colors?
    • Prefer a pocket. This is for my reading glasses (and the rest of this aging, half blind crowd). I don't go anywhere w/o them and they're a PITA. If I'm not wearing a jacket, they won't survive in my jean pockets and I don't have enough hair left to hold them atop my head. Consequently, they hang from my T shirt neck which isn't comfortable - or good for the shirt. Same as the color choices, I'd gladly pay an extra $3 for a pocket option, thank you.
    • Prefer 100% (cooler and less clingy than poly blend). Miss the old Hanes 100% Beefy Tee's!

I just sent 3 shirts to the printer:

    1. Large on front, nothing on back.
    2. Small on front, large on back.
    3. Large on front and back.

    My bases are covered bitches!

Nope. Like I said, no US manufacturers make a pocket tee worth a shit... I did get a tip on a US brand from a member on this thread though and have ordered a sample.

I personally like the art work on the back because my sunken chest and big belly tend to distort the front artwork. I'm a grey shirt guy, never white and rarely black.

I have a few of these; I think this kind works better with the design on the front. But generally I like the big design on the back, small on front.

Whichever design you go with, I don't like the kind where the large design is a big application that doesn't breathe, and becomes a hot sweaty spot that's uncomfortable.

As for the shirt itself, I like a choice between black and white; no colors and no pockets.

  28. This is a good start toward pleasing the fat part of the bell curve.
Having time to reflect on the issue, In my case, I tend to buy if the graphics are cool....... but I tend to wear only those of quality material and generous cut. I don't like thin, tight, sausage skins.
I have a dedicated T-shirt drawer and I notice that there is a nice turnover with the "good" shirts and then there's a very stale pile in the left-side, back corner similar to shedded snake skins. They can have the coolest graphics in the world of hot rods but they are destined to go in the thrift store, donation bag to clothe the poor and naked.

Thanks man, I found that just tucking it into the shirt collar for welding or grinding is key.

If I was doing it as advertising for a shop/manufacturer large front & back would get the most bang for the $.
