YES...it IS...all old cars or mostly accurate reproductions of 60's through early 70's cars, plus guys running...yes..."older" racers !

We all know about Steve Gibbs and his core group putting on these fabulous events. It will showcase a lot of the racers from the 60s that we have come to acknowledge as the beginning of drag racing from hot rod days to the FED racers.

Every year it seems like it gets better and cool to see the flaming exhausts shooting into the night sky.

I saw a daytime version at the Lion's Dragstrip Museum back lot and a exhibition version in Escondido. It definitely never gets old, while the eyes water and the nasal p***ages get a thorough cleansing from the aroma. Don't forget your ear plugs if you have sensitive ears or failing hearing. It is loud and exciting.

Thank you Steve Gibbs for all of the years of production efforts and coordination of history as we all saw and enjoyed back in those early years... Thanks to the builders and participants for always a great show and increase in our senses...
