Thoughts on the 1935 Pontiac coupe, 3 window? found one and debating its purchase. Body is solid and it’s completely intact. Was running several years ago. Always been a fan of the ‘35 Chevy but this Pontiac is pretty cool.
i had mine for 23 years , hi _ boy , shortened duck tail 11 inches ,straight axle , 327 builded , 202 louvers ... i screwed up selling ........ a rare car , still have parts of grille for for memory ............. i did remove all wood ..
Cool car. Just make sure the wood is good shape. Or prepare for a lot of work to replace with steel or new wood. Also ensure car is complete, being fairly rare the parts are harder to find. You will be the only 35 Pontiac at the cruise or show.
It’s complete. Been sitting for a long time. Super nice body and all the wood looks good from what I’ve seen. car is def a solid find. And under $15g thinking it’s a good deal. Won’t take much to get her running again. Previous owner restored the car in the 80s. No filler from what I’ve found either
Haha yes I know. Im on it now. Lastly, where is the VIN located on the frame? The guy is having issues with the title. I read that it’s on the right side of the frame by the wheel?
I love Pontiac coupe’s, my bother had a 36 and I have a 39, love the suicide doors on a 35. The only drawback Pontiac vs Chevy is hard to find parts you don’t have, it only took 10 to find the belt line trim for the door.
standby on pics guys, i will get some. It is a 6. and the suicide doors is definitely a selling point for me. trying to help the guy on the title situation. shouldn't be an issue though. finding parts is always a concern but this seems to have all the original trim and body parts with it, and in great condition.
Weren't the dual quads a Grand Prix thing? I thought GTO's were either one four barrel or a Tri-Power. From "Ronnie and the Daytonas" : "Little GTO, Lookin' fine, Three deuces and a four speed, and a three eighty nine."
