When we were Down Under for a few days a couple of years ago, I was looking around for swampy lands of lakes, streams and rivers. That's because every pickup in the towns we were in was lifted with big tires and a snorkel up the side ending just over the cab. The windows must seal real well down there, too.

I think you had the majority of them with their sparkling liveries.

Please say you don't eat Bovril ....

  12. No, that's English.

  13. Eat it? I've been using it as gasket cement for years!

  14. Kerosene is cheaper than Bundy Rum, and the taste is similar.

  23. Since I brought up the 59 Ford deal that my son is considering, that plot has thickened. A fellow HAMBer following along here let me know about a better car available for similar money, so now there are decisions to make on my son’s part. We will see how this plays out, and I pray he makes a good decision. :D

  24. I'm guessing that's near where you are working? Definitely not a tourist destination.
    It's not near me either.

Looks like fun. I know I would enjoy the trip. I’m an old Rugby player and this is a bucket list thing for me.

this thing says you posted yesterday. I suspect it really is tomorrow back home. What is the date there?

  26. It's Tuesday 10:39PM and about to be the Wednesday the 8th. Goodnight.;)

  27. Yes, only about 10 km from where I will be in the morning.

Yep, what @X38 said…about time to go to bed on the day you are just waking up to.

  28. ...more pics when you get em,...thanks

Now try cheesy toast. Toast, beans, cheese. If you’re fancy, put a slice of tomato on top and roast it.
Toast with vegemite and cheese is good too.

Following along so I looked that hotel up. Nice rooms, an outdoor beer garden and Wednesday night is "50 cent Wing Night". What's not to like about that? :D
