actually that's a before pic from a few years ago!:D that's all stock suspension, sinnong on the rubber snubbers front and rear.

    here's pics from this week.

one shot under the front fender, about an inch and a half clearance without the k-member in the way.

  3. 54 chevys need a raised front x member or a mustang II, modified k member or remove it, a 4 bar with a z'ed rear frame, i did a 39 that lays and the tires could come off the ground

I believe it is channeled because it will sit flat on the rockers.

I've built a lot of stuff I wouldn't post on a "Traditional Hot Rod" forum...

This site isn't about all the crap we all used to build before we got into Traditional hot Rods and Customs...

It's about what you're doing now.

Plus this post was supposed to be about a 1954 Chevy that is low... Somehow that seems to have gotten lost.

Lately there's been alot of Tampon wearing crybabies who get their panties in a bunch when someone post something other than what they (crybabies) want to see or read. If you built something nice in the past or present and you feel like showing it because someone brought it up somewhere in the thread, than do so! It might be beneficial to someone looking for a painter or bodyman or ??? that otherwise wouldn't have known you did this type of work....Fuck what these girlies have to say! And yes, someone did bring up mini trucks and i am glad Loco Louie showed us his ride....Nice truck Louie! If you don't like the discussion...go to another thread and cry about it there. Otherwise, dry your eyes, pull up your skirt and stop bitching about everything posted....Life goes on!

A guy named Nathan Hale and myself built the rusty 54 chevy. It has a mustang II from fatman and the rear has a 2-link. Its on the stock frame rails with tubular crossmembers through the center. Since the floor was rotted out anyway he went ahead and built all new body mounts to raise the floor about two inches and put a new floor in from the firewall back. Im sure I forgot some things but PM me if you have any questions.

Check out this car that was at goodguys this weekend. It is a pretty good clone of the gasmonkey car, just not as low.

    Ha! Ha! Ha!

You fags still have MINI-DICK CLUBMEETINGS?!!!

Do you drink ZIMA and rub OIL on each other's BAD_BOYZ tattoos?

Or are you PIMPIN' GIN-AN-JUICE cause that's how they do it in the LBC...

Does the PREZ get to RIDE the RECRUITS first?

Do you all throw up WESTSIDE when the slutz take the GROUP-PICTURE...
Cuz that's the way they did it in the 80's BRO

Do you front like you're getting excited when they have the DRUNK-SLUT-WET-TSHIRT contest?

Do you plan to THROW-DOWN with the VW Club that stole you CLUBNAME, for the HONOR of the LAVENDER and CHARTREUSE...

Or are you scared cause they CLAIM STRONG-BEACH?

Do you even have a MINI or are you still BEGGING your DAD to let you BODY-DROP the DATSUN 620...

I bet you get WET thinking about how AWESOME it's gonna be when you can TAKE your ride IN to get WINDSHIELD SQUIRTERS mounted ON YOUR BUMPER so you can squirt the GUYS at the SAUSAGE SHOW/MINI-TRUCKIN NATIONALS...

    That's A-ITE HOMIE...

I'm worried about the LOVE I'd recieve.

This post Makes Me NOSTALGIC for the good-ol days...

    1989.

That's when I got my '88 Chevy Styleside.
It had a vortec V-6 and the first thing I did was put some PIPEZ on it.
I used to take it to the illegal street races out by the dump...
I got my ass handed to me...

I took it to The Drop Shop and had them drop it with Spindles-Springs-and a flip-Kit...

I would take through Angeles Crest at tire-squeeling speed down to Cal-Custom to buy a shaved bumper, rolled pan, and Billet Grill.

I put some Boyd Billet-Look Forged aluminum wheels on it

I shaved the taillights, molded in the roll-pan and mounted billet-specialties taillights in the pan. That's when I learned about the differences between Corvette-Type mat fiberglass and regular fiberglass...

I was ticketed for going 140mph in that truck...

When I went to college, my dad sold the truck to a farmer's kid...
He promptly ran someone off the road and became wanted for "Assault with a Deadly Weapon"... The cops thought it was me and I had to prove I sold the truck to avoid going to jail.

I got a bunch of pictures of it...

    Wanna see?

I think he gets it that low by MAGNETICS, those wheels/tires are free floating and he uses magnets polarized opposite to the ones in the road, you know, the ones nobody knows about yet but the government put in there to control all of the new cars, well he found out about it and put opposite magnets in his car and that's how he does it.
