Sure , it has to do with the pedal ratio. Manual brakes use the top hole in the pedal, power brakes need the have the hole lower in the pedal to have the right ratio. Lowering the pivot point now makes the push rod sit at an angle so they angled the booster to keep the push rod parallel.
Mopar used different pedal with hole in different location,some gm used sabre pedal with 2 different holes.
Put the rod in the top hole, use a 7/8” master cylinder and remove the ugly vacuum can from the firewall.
