That is a nice one...you fellas have it quite different down there with premium show weather...the shows never stop...not to mention the populace of material to ogle over...you do capture many, many works of art...thanks for the link...I was having a challenge finding it...

  3. Saw this merc at a car show today. Was actually very well done. And one of those cars that the more times you look at it the more stuff you notice was done to it. Would have loved to talk to the owner but they were nowhere to be found IMG_2023-10-07-10-16-57-819.jpg

Premium Show Weather? I gave up the snow of Lake Arrowhead for the ungodly heat of the Sonoran Desert, you must be writing to Stan.:D

Many times the people behind these masterpieces in both Hotrod, Custom and Race really don't leave any stones unturned...literal showcars...and by that I mean like brand new, perfection...and they drive them too...good on them...I am not cut from that thread but certainly appreciate and understand the why...and powertrains in Customs aren't always given lesser to give more to everywhere else...

I realized I never photo dumped my pics from the Ventura Nationals from back in September. More over on the Kustom Blues thread. Enjoy!

  20. I must be getting old but am I the only person who is not a fan of cars sitting flat on the ground?........lowered is fine but as I've only been playing with cars since the late 1960's so what would I know............just that lowered was just that.......lowered.....sitting on the ground or layin' frame to me looks like the car has flat tyres...........oh well, I'll get back into my corner & go play with my 1940 Dodge.........yeh, I know I'm from the dark side.......lol....and all those cars are really nice customs, just layin frame?....I think that the lilac Chev was the only one that wasn't......lol............Andy Douglas

  21. I agree. This is the way an old style custom should look. In my opinion.

I agree, and am not opposed to bags, but am all about the scrub line.
