View attachment 5888566 View attachment 5888566 View attachment 5886176 Hello, Bump lowered price...I could use the driveway space. I just picked up a nicer '56 Olds 2 Door, so I'm selling this '55. Complete, overall solid and pretty original, but run down. Olds 324 2 bbl engine cranks over but won't fire, frame /underneath original but surface rust, surface rust drivers door front edge has some bubbling, floors are good might have a few pinholes under the matting and replacement carpet glued down, this car had at least one (or more repaints) from long ago... but no structural issues I can see. Trunk mostly solid except spare tire well. Upholstery velour re-do probably from the 70's. Rest of the chrome is driver quality/all there. Cracked drivers window but I have a brand new gl*** pane, and a new crank mechanism that go with the car, drivers window rolls down, but hard to roll up. Was told by the prior owner he had it idling, and the 4 speed hydramatic goes into gears F/R, but it had no spark when I saw it. He said #8 cylinder was ~70-80 and the others were ~120 psig. Stuck valve? burnt valve? I don't know. I cleaned the oil filter housing and replaced the cartridge, oil looked dark, but no metal or sludge. No brakes at all -power Treadle Vac is seized up. Clean PA ***le in my name...I can get more pix as needed/ This car was S31-30 paint (lt/dk green) and 362 trim (green) interior originally. Last registered in NC 10-86. Must rollback/tow this car out of here, and must have funds in my bank before it gets released. Located in SE PA. Thanks. Lowered again, and added extra parts. 4 bbl intake power steering pump ***embly fender skirts 4 free tires 235-75R15, and 215-75R15 fronts from 2013 but look new were in a heated garage ...whoever gets the car gets a deal on the bumpers. they cost me $1300 front/rear I can go 1/2 of that. Two of the priciest parts to replace on the exterior... As many of you know, tough selling project cars, no-shows, low ballers, attempts at scamming...ugh. Sad the 50's cars aren't in demand lately like they once were, but we still like 'em!
