Sorry for the delayed reaction post here, but I shot a roll at the show and never got them developed till now so here you go, these are from The Hotrod Revolution up in NorCal last month- John
So thats what clear laquer looks like over old surface rust. Not bad really once you get used to looking at it.
I seem to recall that there's some other ingredient in Vern's finish on this thing -- it's shoe polish or something.
i dont want to sound super newbish, but, what engine is that with the distributor in the middle and the carbs downdrafted?
SORRY Not possible to ask that question around here with out sounding super newbish It's a 4 cyl Ford motor from 1928 - 34. Most likely a 28-31 block since I can not see any fuelpump on the lower right front side of block. May not be the case though. Search for Banger, model A, model B, or 4 cyl, on here and read. Your mind will be uppgraded on the subject. Thanks for sharing farmer. Seems to me that pics from NorCal area very often suits my taste in cars. Paul
thanks, i am still learning about older engines. thanks for not being brutal! you know any good books i might find in the library?
Thanks man- I think i'll stick with the lesser quality pics that my old outdated canon a1 manual provides....lol
Hi rusty depends on what kind of engine you want to learn more about. There are a LOT available. Not sure what library you are refering to. specify a bit more and the HAMB community will help you out. Paul
