New York Times discovers "Rat Rodders". Oy...

    the denver edition of the times it was in the sports section like 3 pages from the back below the fold i found it in the late edition course i got the paper at like 7pm at starbucks freebie since it was so late and the last copy and told the guy why i was wantin the paper he said take it kool.Nice job Jeff what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

    I like Dave's photos, but the article ****ed. Two different subjects crammed into one piece. I'm in the center of it and I was confused. **** I hate when the press gets involved.

    I agree w/ Kirk- He was trying to pull to many sub-stories into one; The history of the movement, the history of two different shows, and cutural tie-ins of what they think we all like, or how old we all are (?)

    He got the facts me a bit jumbled, but whatever.

    They are Neo-Traditional hot rods. Every time someone call's my dry lakes modified a R rod, I tell them , no it's not damn-it. It's a Neo-Traditional hot rod.

    sorry i know this is an old thread but i had to clear something up since i'm a newbie and discovered this thread when i did a search of ROAD DEVILS...
    Jeff Mrozak our chapter president was misquoted by the writer of the article and after it ran actually called him and wanted to choke him out for the "proud to be a rat rodder comment" . trust me anyone who knows our club, our chapter and our cars knows what The Road Devils are about.
