700r4 question

I'm putting a 700r4 in my elcamino, and was wondering what the lenght differance of the ****** mount between the 350 and 700, so i can make a new mount............

two inches, but be sure to measure, because "things happen"

 

every one Ive done I was able to slide the ****** crossmember back a couple of inches and drill new holes to attach it at the frame. Stock mount usually works.

Thats not going to work with a X-frame......but I wish it were that EZ.

I'm going to try to make this......It seem to be a little more invoulve than just makeing a new mount but what the hell thats half the fun right.

 

the problem is you also need to make room for the longer pan, it goes where the old crossmember used to go
