Are you sure there is enough clearance around the scary parts?

What are the dimensions and thickness of the hood hold downs? Does the bolt just act as a set screw or go into a hole in the frame? Thank you

  11. Made them from 2” wide x 1/8” thick flat stock. Yes the bolt is just a set screw. No extra holes in frame and easy to remove when not running a hood. I made a set like these on my roadster and the work great.

  16. What's nice about my design is no extra holes in frame. Like to see them when finished.

Golly, there was more of the brakes not working than working! Should be capable of huge improvement. Makes you wonder how anyone could leave them like that / live with it ( or even risk dieing by it!). Probably wasn't driven much, possibly for that reason?

Nice work @ct1932ford...painting the rims red?

Are you going with the existing wires, steelies, chrome reverse...I'm excited and curious...:)

He's got red wheels on the roadster @Stogy so he'll have to choose something different for the coupe.
The car came with the option of the wires or steelies so Mark has chosen the wire option. Guess we'll have to wait and see the finished version.

Ct's flying along on this so it's not like watching ketchup come out of the bottle which is a bonus...it won't be too long now...Running wires might have the option of those smoothy optional covers they had back then but the curiosity is part of the excitement...

  21. All garnish moldings and dash out. Header panel out. Those mice in Canada must be amazing . Found nuts in header panel. Will be adding sun visors. IMG_5605.jpeg IMG_5607.jpeg IMG_5606.jpeg

  25. Honestly, I don't see how they got in. When I got the car there were nests in the rumble deck lid. I even found one very skinny live mouse that apparently made the over 3000 mile journey .

A mouse can squeeze thru almost any small space. Any mouse odor?
