    Hi All,
Has anyone built a full fender 30/31 A-V8 with 32 K member and 34 wishbone? Have seen them as highboy but how about with full fenders..
    Thanks, Steve

Here’s where it started. Early 1930 Standard Roadster. Garaged and untouched since 1997. I got it home and literally put a battery and fuel to it and it fired right up and ran as it should.

After everything checked out and confirming that the vehicle would operate. I replaced the oils and gave it a simple lowering job. 33-36 axle. 32-34 spindles. 32 spring perch pins w/ 1/4” spacer. Reverse eye main leaf for the front. Rear was a reverse eye main leaf with a few leaves removed. 5.50 and 700 for tires.

Beautiful work. Were you able to get exhaust inside of the frame rails, what steering did you use?

Thank you! Yes exhaust fits between frame rails then exits under the running boards. 1.750 straight out. The steering is F1. I’ll post all the details soon.

Love it, man. Awesome car that sits and looks right. Seeing this makes me regret selling the fenders to my '28 roadster.

    J,
That is quite beautiful, thanks for sharing. I have a 30 coupe that I have been thinking of upgrading to AV8 for a little more get up and go.

    not 30 /31 . but a fendered AV8
original frame with repro 32 K model A rear axle , 37 trans, 21 stud flat head from WW2 era Bren gun Carrier
dropped I beam, tele shox and stock front spring.
19 incj A wires and BFG Silvertown ww

built cheep from what was laying around, wheels and tyres came off my old 30 coupe . tyres are older but like new tread wise and barely seen sunlight so pressed them into action

chopped screen posts and screen .. not much else to say about it really .. other than I need to finish it :)

Nice! I had a 29 Highboy back in the early 70's. Wish I hadn't sold it. Got married, moved away. Back at it in full force.

Those wheels fill up the guards nicely! I'm curious too, I have a pair waiting to be pressed into service.

Those A wires do look good how you have them fitting the wheel arch, if I could get mine like that it would be cheaper than me looking for straight 35s. What size tyres are they and how have you lowered the rear?

  28. I run A wires on my T Coupe. 4.50 x 19 Blockley front, 6.00 x 16 Michelen DR rear.

Great thread Thank You Chop50 And all who pitched in.
This is the kind of stuff I have hoarded for years.
Sorry to be that guy,,, but sorrow is what causes me to ask,, not to press action too hard .
Been there done that. 33 years . My back still hurts and the car was a loss ( big loss )
