    Hi ,

Can anyone help me identify this gearbox ? The owner thinks it's a Model A or Model B, but to me it definitely doesn't look like a model A because the bellhousing is not separate?
Also the handbrake looks to be mounted in a different position.

    Any help appreciated
    thanks

Looks like a normal '28-'29 Ford model A transmission to me.

Did only the big commercial A’s have a separate hogshead?

Looks like model A with the e brake lever position, pedal mount and clutch inspection cover.

Looks like a 28-early 29 Model A with the center mounted E-brake to me, kind of looks like a separation line between the trans and bellhousing in the second picture.
