COMMENT (Please read): The only thing I can mention about this intake is the top few threads on the front stud hole on the front carb pad is a bit weak. The threads are pretty deep and it will have no problem holding a stud. Every thread on this manifold, including the big NPT fitting bosses has been chased and checked and other than the one mentioned in the previous sentence, they are all perfect and like new. There is absolutely minimal erosion on this part and there are close up pictures of every water contact surface to prove that. It has just been bead blasted and as the pictures show, IT LOOKS LIKE NEW. I've even restored the rough polish job on the logos so they're just like they were when they left the Edelbrock plant. You won't find a nicer one. Back in the day, in the early and mid 50's, when Oldsmobile Rockets were the engine of choice for all the roadsters and coupes, this was the manifold of choice. A row of 3 Stromberg 97's lined up on top and everybody envied you. This manifold will make your ride the ultimate period correct set of wheels. I really doubt that you'll ever find a nicer one.
