The guy had it for sale 4+ years ago and hasn't been heard from since.

  2. The subject vehicle of this thread seems to
have been sold at auction several years ago

I recently transported this Packard from
The National Packard Museum in Warren, Ohio
to America’s Packard Museum in Dayton, Ohio.

I originally transported it about four years ago
for the family of the original owner in Indiana
    to The National Packard Museum.

If you own a historically significant vehicle
or one of a particular niche interest ….

A museum may be the best place to get
free secured storage if you are not planning
to drive it or sell it anytime soon.

Just check out the museum you plan to have
store your vehicle to make sure they are
in good financial order and will keep your
vehicle in conditioned storage if it is
    not on active display.

Museums' have to be very selective as to what is accepted . Different rules apply. Some require you pay for insurance, etc

I automatically think of the Peterson Museum, you could ask for a more appropriate setting for a car with history. HRP

I gotta remember to look at the first posting date on a subject like this -- it's already resolved years before I've wasted my time (not worth a lot, actually) reading it.

As to the cars in ba*****t at "The Peterson", I understand they sold off dozens of them a few years ago to **** up the outside of a once beautiful old building. It looks like the circus is coming to town. They're not getting any more of my money (that won't break them).

The car was sold in 2018 for $88,000.

  7. Ironically I will be visiting my friend Greg Grams
the Patriarch of the Grams Family tomorrow
    for most of the day.

Once again I will be taking videos - some of
which are exclusive behind the scene of
    upcoming exhibits.

The Volo Museum is “ America’s Family Museum “.
That is what I call it - it is my favorite place to
visit and anytime I am close enough I take a day
    to go exploring ….

There is no one quite like Mr. Greg Grams

Yes I back up this suggestion also known as The Zimmerman though he doesn't run it anymore last contact I had was the two gals run the place wanted me to wrench for free I kindly declined and got the brow from both so I left . Just can't wrench for free ya know well anyways it's well run the gals are organized and it is a great place always spotless clean a stone throw from LAX which is considered to be Beach Cities/LAX Area . El Segundo is a quiet community with good cops and great food . Nice place I'd put my car in there and there are Hupmobile fans here also . Yours is grand yes give them a call and an email .

It might pay for their books.

  11. I wonder how successful it was as a salt flat racer ... those front fenders look like they would trap air a lot of air and cause a tremendous amount of drag o_O

Look into automotive museums like the Peterson Automotive Museum in LA or the Henry Ford Museum in Michigan. They host some incredible collections and cater to auto enthusiasts. Also, consider consulting a financial advisor (like Mortgage Broker in Chesterfield) before making the decision. Good luck finding the perfect spot for the "Bonneville Hupp"!

You need to read all the posts and the dates. The car was sold years ago and the OP's last activity here was in 2018.
