    Can anyone tell me the application for these Jahns Pistons? 1136 HRP ,060 4.050 is printed on the box..Thanks for any help...Mac IMG_0720.JPG

    Mac, looks like there is another part of that number in front of the -1136. Any chance you could read it or is there more information in the box?

    I bet if you took a picture of the actual piston a HAMBer could tell you what it fit.

    I think it is an 8 which is the number of pistons....pictures attached....these are 12.5 - 1 compression

    Dosen't a Ford FE have a 4.050 bore? Dome looks like gentle dome early 427 pistons.

    4 -1/8 = 4.125 bore.

    The 390 is 4.050" bore standard. So does the 360 Ford FE. Difference is stroke.

    I didn't have my decoder ring on when I searched though the listings for the pfds of Jahns catalogs that Oldspeedtees has listed. I was just happy to find the listing at all as he doesn't show Chevy pages or many others and I searched by number going from catalog to catalog. Screenshot (437).png
    I went back and checked each listing and one has some decoding of the letters but doesn't show what H means.

    1136 was either Ford 390 or 406, depending on the bore size.
