241 bored .060, 10to 1 custom pistons, final overall CR after machining is calculated at 9.5 to 1. Stock heads with stainless valves, heads were cleaned up for better flow, adjustable valve train, solid camshaft ground on the 235hp 273, 340 oil pump, Offy old skool intake, going to run a caddy WCFB, Chrysler electronic ignition. Given that the 241s has questionable cranks it was sent in for extensive work to make it more reliable.

As far as what I’m putting it in the search is still on. I’d like to do a 30ish Ford or Dodge PU. I have a complete drive train, engine, OD trans and rearend, just need a platform

Did Mitch hide any little extras on the inside of a rocker cover?

No, but I am surprised he didn't add a little item hanging under the ram.

If that engine runs as good as it looks you have a world beater.
As far as those three legged stands go, You don't need a big engine on one to dump it over, you just need to get things out of kilter weight balance wise or catch a wheel on a bad spot on the floor. The Lakewood may be a bit more stable than the cheap ones that were around in the 70's and 80's though. In the 70's you were always hearing stories about them getting dumped over.

A bud has a 3 wheel stand with the post angled back. I believe it moves the CG of the engine away from the pivot line formed by one of the dual wheels and the lone tricycle wheel, and as a result the loaded stand is harder to tip/dump.
At some point the post could limit rotating the engine ***embly ( oil pan down, or 90° etc )
I'll have to check out how that detail is handled.

Strolling along at a Mopar swap yesterday. Guy had sitting there an intake which appeared to be for a Hemi. He had no idea what it fit. No part numbers on the intake. Judging on how small it was it appeared to be for a 241. Took a chance and bought it. Got home that afternoon. Fits like a glove 7AB11B30-AAB9-469A-AF54-50F3ED2930A3.jpeg 5C37DBAD-5ECB-4D5E-A8B5-5ABD7C7C9125.jpeg
