We are pleased to announce that Hot Rod Works has a new owner. Ryan Reierson has purchased Hot Rod Works from Nick and Ken Smith. Ryan will be keeping the same business plan that we have been using for the last 24+ years. The quality, honesty and availability will continue as it has been but in a different location. Nick will continue to be an important resource for the shop and is helping through training and in the transition to Texas. Between now and the first of the year, Ryan will be moving the operation to Waco, Texas. This will be done as fast and smooth as possible. Please be patient with us during this transition period. Ryan looks forward to building relationships with past and future Hot Rod Works customers.

If you need quick change or banjo rear axle upgrades or rebuilds, Ryan is now accepting them.

    The new shipping address is:
    Hot Rod Works
    323 Industrial Dr, Suite G
    Waco TX 76710

The phone number will remain the same: 208-455-7971
    Email contact: sales.hotrodworks@gmail.com

We would like to thank those who have supported us for the last 24 years.

    Nick Smith

I think it may be a regional term?

I'm thinking that Ryan is one of Kenny's boys or maybe a grandson. Long time hot rodding family out of Cranfill Gap Tx.

Great to see a hot rod related business is being p***ed on and will remain, instead of just closing the doors!

Anyone know how long it should take to get your work done? Ryan was nice enough to pick mine up on the way to California for a race he was attending in May but it's still not done???
I think 3-4 months is too long, I should have just brought a new Q/C from someone that sells them.

A friend of mine shipped his complete rear to him over a month ago. He's tried calling him several times. The guy won't answer his phone. I'd have seconds thoughts about him doing any work for me.

Nobody sells a new Halibrand (or replica) though.

Of course, there are the Winters and Kiwi (now Pacific) alternatives.
