Technical Spline repair

I need to find someone that rebuilds splines on my electric trunk opener. Unless someone knows where I can get a new arm. Thanks

 

Well, you maybe want to mention what type of vehicle it is. But not that in know all 65- and earlier vehicles, but don’t recall one with an electric trunk motor.
Maybe a Packard or?

Rather than splines, could it be cut with a keyway?

 

How many teeth? A friend of mine wanted to power his rotisserie thru a speed reducer with 8 straight-sided splines. He made a coupling out of an 8 point socket that engaged it well enough to work.
