Great footage! I can't believe how much that Model A #169 car is channeled. Looks like the driver would have to pretty much lay down in the car!
Superb footage, vivid colors, too bad it wasn't longer. Looks like a couple re-purposed Track Roadsters, in early retirement, as 1954 was about the end of oval racing for them. Thanks for posting !
Thanks Jive...yeah, as El Hueso said these glimpses into the past highlight changes happening that many times are considered newer trends...but many have much further roots than one would imagine... Pretty loose back in those days...sorta been there in my own crazy youth and lived to tell the story...Interesting Marty's observations of repurposing of the many times already repurposed... Makes me think of today when there's many times a bigger reward in finding a vintage Hotrod Capsule versus a stocker... Nice quality film...
