Thinking of this, Hot Rod Flatz Midnight Purple Pearl with a clear coat, just a rough splashed on sample I shot - I've got 1 1/2 gallons of it so why not??
I’m at a loss for words on this one…… I am just now seeing the thread and I am amazed by your mad skills at fabrication of the new panels, floors and ch***is. Usually I cringe whenever the words custom or hot rod are next to Packard but after seeing your last two builds I can’t wait to see this one on the road! You are an inspiration and thanks to your work I think I have a plan for one of my cars that I have been on the fence on what to do with it; keep it original or modify it…….. and how to do it without a lot of notable changes
Amazing skills and build. When do you sleep ? You kept grinding, pounding and smoothing until it was done . Thank You for sharing Your project
Thanks guys, just been going at it to get the bodywork and paint done before heading south for the winter. Got the clear on, some epic orange peel to deal with, but that's what sandpaper is for... I also got all the roll cage pieces and other misc trim, etc., parts sprayed black so all the painting is finished.
With it so close to being together I don’t think I could leave it. It’s going to be a beautiful ride when done.
Got the brake lines, battery cable, fuel line and E brake cables added to the ch***is, set the ****** in place, almost time to drop the body on...
Working on interior panels, carpeting, front gl*** in and got the doors on today. ***embled the grille, had it chromed in Mexico while in Yuma for the winter.
Interior mostly done roll cage in and wiring inside done, steering column and seats now in too. Dropped it to a guy in Algodones, he sent it to Mexicali
