@Six Ball it took me a while to see it after he said it but zoom in on the window of the black and grey truck. That steering wheel is so high he’s probably looking threw it not over it.

I though that was a tree branch on the other side, How dow do you even get in under it?

4 door? Back then a lot of young hot rodders found themselves the head if a single car family. You gotta' do what you gotta' do. Later it can tow the rail job to the drags.

...Canadian Bacon...Bill Sherk is a well known Car guy having written and been part of Culture for years did a blurb on this Hotrod local to Toronto region...and it has that all business look that really makes me wish I got to see it back in the day...But that ain't gonna happen so I'll take Bills story on it...can you imagine finding that in an old barn collecting dust...;)

Bill is still doing stories on old cars I believe...Hotrod/Customs are part of his focus thankfully...I shared his Custom 40 Merc a while back...now owned by a lucky guy I met a while back my way...

  7. Thanks man ! I’m asshole deep in projects trying to get insulation and ceiling tin up in the shop , got heating system sorted out last week so I should be able to do weekly updates right after the holidays and as soon as the Gold T is done I’ll be jumping on one of my Model A coupes and an A pickup . ( coupe and bubble top will be keepers so it’s a bit more of a long term build on those 2 ) but the A pickup will be something I’m just going to drive until it sells so that’s getting whipped together first . Then my T coupe called the “Strip-T-zer” will be getting built along side the bubble top . Too much cool stuff to build and so little time ....I believe this is Gabby's clone of his Old Gow back in the day now owned by Hamber @SUHRsc...sporting that wild Cap Isky ran on his T...

Hamber @flyin-t also knows a lot about this stunner as he was great friends with Gabby...there was another that owned this prior to Zach and that would be Joe Brun who may also be a Hamber...

Yup, but this one was originally my compadre’s lakes racer, bought as a body only out of Rosemead in the early 70’s. His name is Ozzie and he’s the late Bill Burke’s brother in law. Bill built the chassis in early 72, Bill’s son Steve built the headers in 1973, this car was pained in a shade of Corvette Yellow in the backyard by a guy named “Art”, it ran the Drylakes from about 1973 to 77 and Bonneville as well.
it was sold to Mark Brislawn (Briz Bumpers) by way of Bruce Geisler. It was still partly a race car when it left with its trailer, we were going to put back on the street, but was talked out of that by P-Wood. Pat & David Brost made that happen with. Flatty instead of the SBC & Muncie 4 speed. They built the car that you see here and we built Ozzie another 29 Roadster about a year after the first 29 left.
Both cars are original bodied cars, one has a truly unique boxed tubed chassis, the 2nd an original Deuce chassis with all P& J’s parts on it. IMG_1470.png IMG_0471.png

I like that speedster! Looks like he’s still trying to figure out the headlight and fender mounts.
