IMG_1928.jpeg IMG_1930.jpeg IMG_1931.jpeg Old thread but thought I’d bring it back. I’m 67 and every Christmas since I’ve been alive my Fathers 1946 Lionel 2020 has been under tree first at my Moms and since 1988 at my house. I was pretty sick with Covid for weeks but somehow got things up. I feel better seeing them. IMG_1931.jpeg IMG_1930.jpeg IMG_1928.jpeg

I have mine from when I was a few years old. Not in the best of condition and haven't run in at least years.
About 12 or so years ago my neighbor was down sizing and moving into an apartment. He gave me a bunch of things out of his garage. There was a box of Lionel stuff. I never opened the box until I found out a fellow from Church was really into train layouts. He was at my house one day and I told him I had some Lionel train stuff and asked if he wanted it. We opened the box and the pictures posted by the OP could have been that set, in separate boxes and looked brand new with books and all. Well I couldn't go back on my word and gave the set to him. Next time I check out something before giving it away. Lol.
