Anyone know how to convert GM rotors to Mustang II front ends?? I'm installing Mustang II Susp. on my '51 Chev. and want to be able to run the same wheels on front and rear,( of which I have about 6 sets) I'm using S-10 rear end. Want to stay in my budget, and not have to sell the grandkids into slavery...Pork

  2. Possibly have a machine shop re-drill for your lug pattern?

You can get 4 and 3/4 Mustang II rotors, or 11" rotors to fit your Mustang II front end. I had no prolem when I needed them.

I think the mid-late 80's Camaro rotors could be used with the bearings from the MII. If I remember correctly, the bearings from the MII worked, if you use the Camaro races. Go down to the parts store and look in the books at the bearing sizes and numbers.

I think the spacing is a bit wider though, so you will need to cut the big nut down a bit to be able to get the cotter pin in and a dust cap on.

my fatman setup uses 82 - 87 camaro rotors.

    84 - 94 camaro/firebird calipers

A 12 & A 13 races with the camaro bearings and a 471854 seal. the seal is a non stocking item with no specific automotive application as far as I know.

the different races put the rotor out like 1/4 inch so the castle nut is where the cotter pin hole is

of course this all works with the fatman caliper brackets...

If you are still using the 9" rotors, there are direct replacement rotors available from many sources, such as Parr Automotive. If you have anything heavier that a T-bucket, you should go to 11'' rotors which are available from the parts store with the above mentioned bearings, but you will have to change to GM calipers and the caliper mounting bracket for the M II spindles. The Ford calipers will not work.
