Decided to remove my dash for some work

 

Glad to see progress.

 

I was originally going to weld the dash back in but decided to make it removable, so cut it up and rewelded the pinch seam back in then built a flange with some bead rolls to keep it rigid and used riv-nuts with some button heads. Wasn’t sure how it would work out but I’m happy with the outcome.

Were you able to locate the missing quarter panel trim pieces?

 

I’ve seen some around but everything I see is more then I want to pay at the time

Pulled the rear window and found surprises

 

Man that’s a bummer. I know you could build it with a shrinker stretcher but given you live in Cali, I’d be inclined to find a parts car that you can cut those parts out of.
