For starters let me say that I should be working more that surfing the net looking for cars. Well, last Thursday I came across an add (Craig's List) for a 1953 Chevy 2-door in decent shape. Contacted the seller and drove down to take a look. Was told it ran a year ago but had been sitting the rest of the time (kid flooded and ran down the battery, he was not much of a old car guy). Bought the car, took her home, installed a new battery, drained bad gas put in new, gave new tune-up and fired her up. Sounds good with no smoke and everything but the wiper motor works. Paint is not all that, but what can I say for under 2K. Now i might consider selling the old 54 Plymouth. Any takers??????
The Plymouth is cool too. In fact, if it was a 2dr, it would be much cooler than the Chevy. Nice score man! I do love some '53-54 Chevys.
