If that's on the pickup, the angled end goes on the fender tab at the bottom just behind the wheel opening and the brace goes straight up and bolts to the hole in the frame side.

I guess I didn't take a good picture of those. In this ****py photo taken from the wheel arch looking back, the bracket it attached to the frame near the gas filler, and bends forward and attaches to a tab behind the wheel opening at the bottom of the fender.

Ya,sorry. It’s for a pickup. I have the bed off the frame right now for bodywork and paint. Trying to get what I can done for now since it’s too cold to paint. Wanted to bond a stud for these braces to the fender so I don’t have that bolt head on the fender showing for this bracket. Guess I’ll need to wait until I get the box back on the frame after I paint it since that end bolts to the frame. If you have any more angles of it attached, please share. What are the extra holes in that bracket for? Thanks

Thats my pick up I posted above, it just has p***enger car taillights. There is no bolt visible on the rear fenders on the outside on a 40/41. One of my fenders was a later year and I did have to weld up that hole you speak of. The 40/41 has a tab that bends up from the fender lip. The bracket bolts to it from inside the tab. I will take better pictures today when I am in the shop if you like. I do not know what the extra holes are for, I plan to make a rock guard to protect my fuel hose and bolt to the brace. It should look rather factory.

Oh okay, great. I have one steel drivers side rear fender and it had that hole in it so I wasn’t sure. I’m running fibergl*** fenders which have that tab on them where my old steel one didn’t have it. Thought that tab was part of the casting of the fibergl***. Glad I didn’t cut it off! Haha

Thanks for the additional pictures. Helps to have a reference picture like these. Makes sense now. Each time I get confused, I scroll your build thread in hopes for pictures. You’ve do***ented your build very well.
