I'm not all that concerned about the idea of theives casing out a joint form Google; as the years go by , the pics become less and less reliable. Case in point: the vette is gone. The google street view of our shop shows my wife's Cavalier for sale out front. That was a couple years ago.

I know that car. That has been there a long time, that family put a "curse" on the Spokane area. That whole neighborhood is filled with gyspies (sp?) I'll drive by and see if it is still there..

Its not a split window but there is one sitting in similar condition about 5 miles from my house. Heard various stories as to why. Know one guy that went over to come home with it, hundred dollar bills hangin outta his pockets, was sent home empty handed. Watin for the owner to croak so I can get it at his estate auction.
NO I won't tell you where it is...

Google Earth is not very reliable as far as casing anything. The pics of my house are at least a year old and possibly more, judging by whats sitting where. And I have the added bonus of bein in the boondocks where they don't have near the resolution that they do in the city. No street view out here and even on its most magnified setting only I can identify whats what!

My boy told me when he learned about Google, that when he looked at our house. The view showed a customer picking up a 32 Ford coupe, the image has been updated, nothing impressive to look at now.

  5. I helped a friend get his out of a 30+ year hibernation... 40K miles numbers matching Fuelie. (yes... I checked EVERY single part and it's legit!)

The frame, bumpers, and birdcage... rusted through...!

He started working on it at the hanger but now it's sitting in a field next to a barn... he's going to restore it one of these days...

  7. That's moss and that SOB needs to be sitting in my yard. Daaaaaamn.

Last time I looked my house had an empty driveway. That would be at least 2006.

Never the less if I was in the NW it would be worth a drive by (no pun intended) to check that ****** out.

The car posted by the OP has been all over the internet for years. I have seen it on multiple sites and read responses from guys that actually live in the town where it is or was. I read the current owner of the 63, his son went to war and never came back. So he didn't want to sell it even though he was asked constantly. I believed it because I can't see any other reason to let the car get that rundown.

Does anyone know who's restoring this car now? I'd love to see some progress pictures!

I would hope that if it was being restored in 2011 that it has been finished for quite some time now

Its current owner bought it in 2013. It's restoration hadn't begun until just recently.
